VicFarms is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the Platform.

Article 2 —Collection methods |
2.1 Direct Collection
We collect your data when you:
▸ Create an account on the Platform;
▸ Complete your Farmer or Vendor profile;
▸ Make a service reservation;
▸ Make or receive a payment via Mobile Money;
▸ Rate a service or write a review;
▸ Contact our support service.
2.2 Automatic Collection
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect:
▸ GPS geolocation data (with your prior authorization);
▸ Connection and activity logs (time stamp, pages visited, actions performed);
▸ Information about your device (model, operating system, identifiers);
▸ Application performance and diagnostic data.
2.3 Collection via third parties
We may receive data about you from:
▸ Mobile Money operators (MTN MoMo, Orange Money) to confirm payments;
▸ Geolocation partners to optimize GPS routes;
▸ App stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) for installation statistics.

Article 4 —Data sharing |
4.1 Internal Sharing
Your data is accessible only to VicFarms teams authorized to access it within the strict scope of their duties.
4.2 Sharing with service providers
Certain data is shared with Vendors upon confirmation of a booking:
▸ Your first name and last initial;
▸ Your GPS location to guide the intervention;
▸ Details of the service requested.
Vendors do not have access to your full phone number or financial data.

4.4 Sharing restrictions
VicFarms formally commits NOT TO:
▸ Selling your personal data to third parties;
▸ Sharing your data with advertisers without your consent;
▸ Transferring your data outside the CEMAC zone without appropriate safeguards.
