Personal Data Deletion Policy

VicFarms respects your right to erasure of your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws. This document describes the complete procedure for requesting and obtaining the deletion of your data.

⚠ IMPORTANT Some data CANNOT be deleted immediately: — Data necessary for ongoing legal proceedings — Tax and accounting data (kept for 5 years in accordance with Cameroonian law) — Data relating to unresolved disputes between users |

Method 1 — Via the app (recommended)

DELETION STEPS FROM THE APP
Step 1: Open the application > Go to the Profile tab Step 2: Tap on Settings (⚙) > Privacy & Data Step 3: Select 'Delete my account and data' Step 4: Read the summary of consequences and confirm Step 5: Identity verification via OTP (SMS code sent to your registered number) Step 6: Select the data categories to delete (or select all) Step 7: Confirm the request — a confirmation email/SMS will be sent to you Step 8: A deletion ticket number is assigned to you (e.g., DEL-2026-00123) |

Send an email to privacy@vicfarms.cm with the following information:

Madam, Sir, I, the undersigned [FULL NAME], holder of the VicFarms account associated with number [+237 XX XX XX XX], hereby sends you this request to delete my data personal data in accordance with my right to erasure. I request the removal of: [specify: all / profile / geolocation / etc.] I am attaching a copy of my identity document to this email for verification.

To protect users against unauthorized deletions, VicFarms performs identity verification before processing any deletion request.

If VicFarms cannot satisfactorily verify your identity, the application will be rejected and you will be notified by email within 5 business days. You will then be able to resubmit the application with the appropriate supporting documents.

Legal deadline In accordance with the GDPR (Article 17) and international best practices, VicFarms is committed to processing all deletion requests within a specified timeframe. maximum of 30 calendar days from identity verification. In complex cases, this period may be extended to 60 days with prior notification. |

Article 5 —Consequences of the removal |
|
⚠ IMPORTANT The deletion of your account and data is PERMANENT and IRREVERSIBLE. Please read the consequences below carefully before confirming. |
5.1 Immediate Consequences
▸ Your VicFarms account is deactivated and immediately inaccessible;
▸ All your current reservations are cancelled — applicable refunds are processed in accordance with the Cancellation Policy;
▸ Your public profile (name, photo, ratings) disappears from the Platform;
▸ You are no longer receiving any notifications, emails or SMS messages from VicFarms.
5.2 Data retained after deletion
In accordance with legal obligations, certain data is retained even after the account is deleted:

5.3 Re-registration after deletion
If you wish to use VicFarms again after deleting your account:
▸ You can create a new account with the same or different information;
▸ The history of the old account cannot be recovered;
▸ The ratings and reputation of the old account are not transferable.
